I, Shawn Pratt, a 20-year resident of Paris, made the decision to run for public office and submitted my application for the Mayor of the County of Brant on August 19, 2022.
In this format request, I am allowed 200 words to express why I chose to run for council. These short formats usually favour the incumbents, so that being said, I will be short on the answer to the above question, since I have been promised an interview later in September by the Paris Independent.
